Grace Rose Farm operates in one of the most seasonal industries in e-commerce. While maintaining efficient paid advertising performance during slower periods was important, the brand also needed to reduce its reliance on paid acquisition and build a more sustainable source of long-term revenue growth.
The challenge was to increase visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms while continuing to drive profitable sales. Carbon Box Media partnered with Grace Rose Farm to improve organic search performance, strengthen site-wide content strategy, and capitalize on growing opportunities within AI-powered search experiences.
We partnered with Grace Rose Farm to build a comprehensive organic growth strategy focused on increasing visibility across Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, ChatGPT, Copilot, and other emerging search platforms.
Our team developed and optimized content designed to capture high-intent search traffic throughout the customer journey while improving technical SEO foundations and on-site user experience. Alongside traditional search optimization, we implemented GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to help the brand appear more frequently in AI-generated search responses and recommendation engines.
By combining SEO, GEO, conversion optimization, and content strategy, we helped Grace Rose Farm generate sustainable revenue growth from organic acquisition channels while reducing dependence on paid traffic.
Google Ads
Grace Rose Farm achieved exceptional advertising performance during the most challenging season of the year for the horticulture industry. From June through mid-August — a period when flower and gardening brands traditionally experience major slowdowns in sales — the company maintained a consistent 5.2x ROAS while continuing to generate strong top-line revenue. In an industry heavily affected by seasonality, heat-sensitive products, and reduced summer purchasing behavior, maintaining this level of profitability was a significant accomplishment.
SEO
Over a 90-day period, Grace Rose Farm generated more than $666,000 in search-attributed revenue and 3,535 orders through a combination of organic search and AI-driven discovery channels.
Google remained the largest revenue source, growing from approximately $353,000 to $623,000 in attributed sales, while visibility across Bing, DuckDuckGo, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot also increased significantly. Overall search-attributed revenue grew 77%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the company’s SEO and GEO strategy.
The result was a more diversified acquisition system capable of driving revenue through both traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms, creating a stronger foundation for long-term growth.
Grace Rose Farm successfully maintained a 5.2x ROAS throughout the entire summer season — a period widely considered the most difficult time of year for the horticulture and cut flower industry. Despite industry-wide seasonal slowdowns caused by extreme heat, vacations, and lower consumer demand, the brand continued generating strong top-line revenue while maintaining highly efficient customer acquisition across Meta Ads.
Through improved campaign optimization, stronger creative strategy, and a more focused paid social approach, we helped the brand sustain performance during months that are traditionally considered “dead months” for e-commerce flower sales. The consistency of results during June, July, and August demonstrated the strength of the overall marketing system and positioned Grace Rose Farm for continued growth heading into peak seasonal periods.
